ICS Language Tools Product Terms

1. Your code and generated output

Lucid Programming claims no ownership of source code, ICS files, generated C#, or other content processed or produced using ICS Language Tools. Using the software imposes no Lucid Programming license obligation on that content. You retain whatever rights you otherwise hold in it; existing third-party rights remain unaffected.

2. Software license

ICS Language Tools is licensed under the Elastic License 2.0 in LICENSE. These Product Terms describe the Free and Pro tiers and do not reduce the rights granted by that license. If these Product Terms conflict with the Elastic License 2.0 about use, copying, modification, or distribution of the software, the Elastic License 2.0 controls. Lucid Programming retains all rights in the software that are not expressly granted. A Pro purchase grants access to Pro functionality; it does not transfer ownership of the software or the right to sublicense a license key.

3. Free tier

The Free tier includes the extension's manual conversion, preview, formatting, navigation, language-service, diagnostic, and validation features. In particular, users can manually apply an ICS preview to C#, manually synchronize an ICS file, and manually generate C# without a Pro license.

4. Pro tier

A valid ICS Pro license enables these automation features:

Lucid Programming may add or change tier-specific features in later releases, provided that the applicable tier is disclosed in the product documentation. ICS Pro is licensed per activated machine. Each activation is associated with one VS Code machine identifier and counts against the activation limit stated at purchase. The subscription period, number of permitted simultaneous activations, price, renewal terms, and any transfer or reset rights are the terms shown at purchase or subsequently agreed in writing. Pro functionality requires a license key whose status permits access. Pro access may stop when a license expires, is disabled, exceeds its activation limit, or otherwise ceases to be valid. Loss of Pro access does not prevent use of the Free tier under the software license.

5. License protection and redistribution

You may not move, change, disable, or circumvent license-key functionality, or remove or obscure functionality protected by a license key. Redistribution of the software is permitted only as provided by the Elastic License 2.0 and must include the applicable license and notices. Redistribution does not transfer a Pro subscription, license key, or activation entitlement to another person. You may not sell, share, publish, or sublicense a license key, or represent yourself as Lucid Programming or as an authorized reseller without written permission.

6. Availability and changes

Internet access is required for initial license activation and periodic validation. A temporary offline grace period may be provided, but continuous offline Pro access is not guaranteed. Lucid Programming may update the software, licensing service, or these Product Terms for future releases. Any material changes apply prospectively to the extent required by applicable law.

7. Warranty, liability, and termination

The warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, and termination provisions in the Elastic License 2.0 apply to the software. A violation of these Product Terms may also result in suspension or termination of the affected Pro entitlement, subject to applicable law. Pro purchase and payment matters are also subject to the terms presented by the merchant of record at checkout.

8. Governing terms

Mandatory rights and laws that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. The software license is governed by LICENSE; Pro purchase and payment matters are governed by the terms presented at checkout and any additional written agreement with Lucid Programming. No specific jurisdiction is designated by these Product Terms.
